Highlighted below are Wintec Group Inc.'s picks for the most significant new features and improvements found in Maximizer CRM 11. We welcome the opportunity to present a live demonstration of these features upon request.
1. Updated Interface
Maximizer has gotten a significant facelift that includes: a collapsible ribbon bar, a customizable Quick Access toolbar; HTML format in Notes, the ability to mark certain Notes as “important”, coloring rules for enhanced display, and associated column setups for catalogued searches and favorite lists.
2. Dashboards
Dashboards are essential tools to give managers a bird’s eye view into sales activity. Maximizer’s new user configured Dashboards are easier than ever to build and include click-through lists and new output options.
3. Custom fields
Two new user defined field formats include calculated fields and Yes/No fields.
4. Data accessibility through searching
Search for Address Book information such as city or phone numbers in the Opportunity and Customer Service windows and build a column view for opportunities or cases that includes that information. New “rolling dates” search criteria allow you to find records within a timeframe such as “Today” or “This month”.
5. Calendar enhancements
Manage multiple time zones for your global sales team by using the new time zone feature in the Calendar and Hotlist. Want to remind your prospect that you’ve got a meeting? Use the new “Notify address book entry by email” feature.
6. Database administration
Database administrators will love the new multiple level security feature that allows them to customize who can see or edit Address Book entries. Setting up new users and administering existing ones is easier than ever using the new centralized user administrator UI. If you’re using the Group edition of Maximizer, you can now overcome the SQL 4 GB limit using SQL express file stream for document storage.
7. Opportunities
The new Opportunity Monitoring feature will alert you via email when changes have been made to your opportunities by someone else. Take advantage of the new quota management tool to support pipeline management.
8. Campaigns and email integration
Sending campaigns is easier than ever by using the new Maximizer e-mail message editor with HTML merge fields, embedded images and easy e-mail merge. This email editor is also supported in campaigns, so that users can embed images and more easily construct message bodies. Additional click-through tracking statistics are available within the CRM interface to supplement existing reporting tools.
9. MaxExchange
A simplified MaxExchange distribution system supports new mirror sets for high performance with large databases and many sites. Search catalogs and email notification are now replicated.
10. Web
Maximizer’s improved web performance includes: Firefox support; Sharepoint integration; an Outlook add-in for web access; improved web application functionality; and wireless support for opportunity editing.
11. MaxMobile
A completely revamped MaxMobile for the Blackberry includes: Mobile video, photo, and audio capture; New MaxMobile UI; mobile access to full CRM contents; MaxMobile multi-user collaboration; MaxMobile documents support; and label customization for MaxMobile.
